Come Back to Me
When the moon shines down on her house
And through her window pane
And her spells seem lost inside her
She needs to find them again
She stares into the starless sky
And prays through her heart
Whatever she needs she knows she'll find
If she only finds her part
~*~
Through desperation she holds her hand
Out to the windowpane
The cold glass sends a chill
And makes her feel whole again
~*~
She climbs off her bed
And makes it to her front door
She turns the knob and runs outside
And falls to the floor
She lays on her back and prays
Staring at the moon
Cold tears streaming down her face
She clasps her hanging rune
~*~
Through desperation she holds her hand
Out to the moonshine
Warmness seemed to fill her soul
On that Winter night
~*~
Come back into me
Fill me with your gentle breeze
Like a sinking boat out at sea
Oh, please, come back to me
~*~
Her father came outside
And called for her by name
She wiped her eyes and stood up
Slowly steadying her frame
She walked up to her father
Smiling at his daughter June
She walked inside after glancing
Back at the waning moon
~*~
Through Desperation she ran upstairs
And threw herself on the bed
Trying to regain the words
She might have missed that it said
~*~
Come back into me
Fill me with your gentle breeze
Like a sinking boat out at sea
Oh, please, come back to me
